Alcanada Golf hosts the first Hole In One for Golf Challenge Mallorca.
Congratulations to Julia Krull on scoring a Hole In One with the Golf Challenge Mallorca competition on the 2nd of October. Yes, as a PGA professional golfer it is argued that the odds are in their favour, however, this was Julia’s first hole in one and it´s always special when the elusive hole in one happens.
The 24 year old from Cologne, Germany scored her first ever hole in one on the 4th hole of the beautiful Alcanada golf course in Alcudia. Along with her playing partner, Dr Carina Neess from Dusseldorf, Germany, Julia entered the Par 3 competition to win some prizes displayed on the promotion table, which also contributes to Cancer Support Group and ended up winning the top prize of a 5 Star Luxury Villa Holiday for her friends and family for a week.
Julia said, “I really wanted to win the towel with the Spanish flag, so my only goal was to get the ball anywhere on the green. When I hit the ball, I felt that it was a good one. I couldn’t see the ball landing, but Andy, the competition organiser, shouted out “I think it’s in!”.
I couldn’t believe it and was speechless.”
Golf Director Kristoff Both, who is busy getting ready for the Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final being hosted at Club de Golf Alcanada this November, was also delighted at Julia´s achievement. He said “what great timing to get a hole in one! Well done Julia, enjoy your prize.”
Julia will be returning next October for the luxury villa holiday at the beautiful Boutique Villa Alaro and of course some more golf.
2023 - Winners Update
‘Exactly one year later I had the chance to redeem my hole in one prize! It was a fantastic week in Boutique Villa Alaró with my friends. The villa was awesome and we felt really welcomed. Apart from that it’s the perfect starting point for many golf trips all over Mallorca.

The Second Ace Strikes at Alcanada Golf
With just 18 months playing the game, Michael Coulman the 33 year old property developer from Leeds, whacks home a Hole in One on the stunning Alcanada Golf Course in Alcudia, Mallorca.
Just 20 days after the first hole in one of the year, Michael took his Taylor Made Hybrid to the 150m 4th hole and scored his Hole in One in front of his stunned mates.
It was ‘the most unexpected hole in one from the group’ according to Michael and goes on to say ‘it was probably the best shot I have ever done’.
Golf director Kristoff Both, was busy organising The Rolex Challenge Tour Grand Final being hosted at Club de Golf Alcanada this November, but was delighted to hear the news and looks forward to welcoming Michael and his guests back to Alcanada golf next year.
Michael will be returning in 2023 with 5 guests to claim his prize of a 5 star villa holiday at Boutique Villa Alaro for one week.
